GARLIC JIMS FAMOUS GOURMET PIZZA® ALONG WITH THE PUTNAM FOUNDATION RAISES 'DOUGH FOR KIDS!'

EVERETT, WASHINGTON (February 2007) Beginning February 13, Puget Sound residents have even more of a reason to order pizza on Tuesdays! Garlic Jim’s Famous Gourmet Pizza is teaming with the Putnam Foundation, founded to assist children and communities by improving and providing access to youth sports programs in the Pacific Northwest, to raise money to support kids throughout the area. February 13, 20 and 27 mark the Tuesdays in which every large and medium pizza is $3.00 and $2.00 cheaper respectively, with Garlic Jim’s donating the customers’ savings to the Putnam Foundation. Every kid loves sports and pizza, making the partnership between Garlic Jim’s and the Putnam Foundation a perfect pairing.

The second annual “Raising Dough for Kids” campaign will involve every Puget Sound corporate and franchise Garlic Jim’s store. Money raised by the campaign will go to further Putnam Foundation’s vision of increasing access to sports for all youth in Washington, regardless of circumstances.

"Garlic Jim's is excited to reach out and further the connection with our communities," says Dwayne Northrop, president and CEO of Garlic Jim’s. "Working with the Putnam Foundation ensures our money will do great things and our owners will be able to further support the kids they see every day."
