2ND ANNUAL "STRIKE FOR TIKES" RAISES AWARENESS, DOLLARS FOR AREA KIDS!


SPOKANE, WA (June 5, 2006) – The Peter M. Putnam Foundation is holding its second annual Strike for Tikes event benefiting local Spokane and Coeurd d’Alene area kids.

Last years event raised over $10,000 to support over 300 local kids participate in youth sports through the YMCA, Little league, boys and girls clubs.

“Last years event was great,” said Putnam Foundation director Chris Turnley. “The local business community really came out and supported the kids to the tune of $10,000 last year, and were expecting the same great support this year too.”
